The The Historic Downtown Business Improvement District (HDBID) is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Before Bunker Hill was built a block west, the Historic Downtown was the central point of activity for the Downtown area. The HDBID is located between 4th and 9th Streets on Broadway, and Spring and Main Streets from 4th to 7th Streets. Neighboring areas of the Historic Downtown are: Chinatown, Little Tokyo, the Fashion District, South Park, the Toy District, Bunker Hill, Olivera Street and the University of Southern California.

Commuting to Historic Downtown Los Angeles is simple. There are many options to take from side streets to freeway exits, no matter from what direction you enter the city. Public transportation systems such as The Metro's Red, Blue and Gold lines; Metrolink's rail lines; MTA' bus lines and LADOT's DASH system provide easy access and connections to the District.
